We're massive fans of mid '50s Gretsch guitars, and this might just be one of our favourites to have hit the wall!

A gorgeous original example, this Fleetwood Synchromatic boasts a lovely 17" lower bout in tandem with an incredible feeling 5-piece Maple and Rosewood neck with an Ebony fretboard. Finished in an exceptional two-tone sunburst, this instrument screams the golden age of jazz guitar.

Most importantly with this example, is a period correct and original DeArmond Magnetic pickup dating to sometime in the 1950s which was added to the instrument. Measuring at a perfect 14.70k, this pickup sings and compliments the build of this instrument to a tee. Woody and resonant sounding without losing out on note clarity is how we'd describe it. Includes the original screw in guitar cable as well! Features the original closed back gold Grover tuners, genuine mother of pearl block inlays, as well as the original tailpiece. The original pickguard has held up incredibly well with little to no warping and no cracking.

Cosmetic condition is excellent with only minor dings and checking. To say this is a show piece would be an understatement. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Currently playing with a set of round wound strings, we think this example would really sing with a set of flats!

Includes the original tweed hardshell case with interior branding in great condition.
