A cool players-grade Musicmaster with some serious charm!

We love a short scale Fender, with this example being no exception. This example based off original pot codes dating to 1961, appears to be either a 1961 or 1962 model which has received a refinish, in the veins of a darker desert sand. The neck pocket reveals some pencil writing, however is a bit too obscured to make out properly. Further reinforcing the date is the presence of clay dots and a veneer fretboard (standard for these models at this time). This example appears to retain its original neck, tuners, string tree, bridge, as well as some of its electronics (pots and capacitor). Everything else including the pickguard, the addition of two non-original pickups, and a blank neck plate, appears to have been replaced at some point in time. Despite this, this example plays beautifully and thanks to the inclusion of two pickups, adds another level of tonal diversity to the inclusion.

Cosmetic condition is okay with wear present throughout and indicative of its age and modifications made. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Currently strung with a set of flatwound strings (the best thing for these short scale Fenders).  Includes a non-original hardcase.
