1978 Greco PMB800 Natural

A great clone of an iconic bass from Greco!

The late '70s is our personal favourite period for many Japanese manufacturers. At this stage, the designs had become a lot more refined and more accurate to what they were replicating at the time. This particular example is designed after an iconic US guitar manufacturer and some of the basses they were best known for putting out. Featuring a laminated two-piece maple body in combination with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, the PMB boasts a great sounding pair of pickups, utilising the PU-116 and PU-110. A super fun bas for all those McCartney heads!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age with signs of play wear, hardware tarnishing, and some dings and scrapes predominantly shown at the headstock and bass of the instrument. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Currently fitted with flatwound strings. Includes a period-correct hard case.
