A custom made S-style from Melbourne builder, Ray Carlton!
Ray Carlton is a builder based out of Carrum Downs here in Victoria that custom makes a wide variety of F-style guitars with top end specifications.
Utilising an S-style shape as the ground foundation, this example employs a beautifully vibrant Candy Apple Red finish in tandem with hardware sourced from the likes of Gotoh, Tusq, and Switchcraft. Boasting a more modern feeling 9.5" fretboard radius, this example fits beautifully in hand with a slightly fuller C-shape neck. This example has also been upgraded to a HH configuration, featuring an incredible set of Mick Brierley PAF-style pickups. It has also been switched to VVT wiring instead of the traditional VTT.
Cosmetically, this example is in good condition with minor scratching found throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes a hardcase.
