A swingin' example from German guitar manufacturer, Hoyer!
Dating to approximately sometime in the late 1950s, this example from Hoyer is the Esquire model which features a typical archtop design of this period. This example boasts a lower bout of 16 1/2" and a body depth of 3". Featuring a gorgeous ebony fretboard adorned with block inlays, this example is striking in person with an immense amount of character. This example has had its pickguard replaced, but otherwise retains its original hardware. These didn't come with truss rods installed, but after levelling a few frets, this example plays quite well for its age.
Cosmetic condition is good with the expected wear of an instrument this old. Uniform checking is featured throughout, with this example being well taken care of. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes a '60s Australian-made hardcase.
