Get your Dusty Hill on with this great example from '69!
One of the original 'reissue' instruments, the Fender Telecaster Bass was introduced in 1968 and was a recreation of the original 1951 Fender Precision Bass. Capturing the details of the original, the '68 reissue boasted the same Telecaster-style headstock, large pickguard, and single pickup configuration! Serial number on backplate fits within the period as well as pot codes dating to 1966, which is the norm to see in instruments during this period (we can thank Fender for buying a surplus of pots in '66). The original bridge and pickup covers are present and in great condition, as is the thumb rest. All hardware and electronics appear to be original to the instrument. This example is ready for you to get your Dusty Hill on!
Cosmetic condition is quite reasonable for its age! Checking is present throughout as well as all the normal and expected dings and marks. Currently equipped with flatwound strings. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action! Includes the original hardshell case.
