1977 Fender Vibro Champ 1x8" Guitar Combo

A great sounding vintage combo that is fully serviced and ready to go!

The Vibro Champ was one of the last offerings from the original line of Champ amplifiers that Fender produced. Voiced to sound a little cleaner and featuring a bias tremolo, these are absolute steals that are super responsive and make great recording/loungeroom amplifiers. This particular example dates to 1977 and presents in original condition outside of replaced capacitors done as part of its service. Undertaken by David Aurora (one of Melbournes best amplifier technicians), the original two-prong has been replaced with a modern three-prong 240v connection as well as rewired for modern safety standards. The result is a great sounding combo that is ready for many more years of enjoyment!

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, showing signs of control plate wear as well as minor tolex and grill cloth wear. Hardware and electronics are fully functional. Even includes an original hang tag!
