Perhaps the most iconic of all synthesizer/guitar hybrid setups, released by Roland!

The Roland G505 Guitar Controller is made from an Ash body and Maple neck, alongside three Roland PU-134S single-coils. Manufactured in Fujigen Gakki factory which also built Fender guitars for sale within the Japanese market, the G505 takes some obvious design homages. These feature a variety of controls to dial in not only the guitar sound, but also various parameters for the GR-300 synthesizer. These feature two seperate outputs for both the straight guitar, and the synthesizer output. Sounds and feels like a lot of comparable S-style guitars of the time, but the real fun begins when you hook it up to its synthesizer unit!

Boasting 6-voice polyphony with 2 oscillators per voice, the GR-300 is an absolute powerhouse when paired up with its companion guitar. These units were famously used by the likes of Pat Metheny, Adrian Belew, and even Andy Summers of The Police.

Both components are in great condition for their age with the majority of wear being found on the upper body contour of the G505. Both function correctly, and are very fun to use.

The G505 includes its original hardcase with a couple of leads and a strap, and the GR-300 retains the original plastic protector, albeit fairly worn out.

Both units sold together.
