1983 Tokai VS-80/TVS-80 Special Series Blue Sunburst

A real eye-catcher from Tokai!

We've had a handful of great Tokai models come through our doors, but none that quite make the visual statement this example does. A non-catalog special model, the bodies varied on these models, with this example appearing to be an alder body sporting a bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Pickups and wiring appear to be correct to this model, whilst also sporting a gold-plated Tokai Extra Tremolo system as an option from the factory. Wiring includes two volume controls as well as a master tone. Finished in a stunning blue sunburst, this example from Tokai has exceptional character and great tonal capabilities!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing minor scratching all throughout the body. There is some scuffing to the binding near the output jack. There are some minor dings throughout, with a small ding to the back of the neck. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No tremolo arm included. Includes a maroon leather gig bag.
