Manufactured in 1984 in the iconic Matsumoku factory, this MIJ Sheraton is a great example with some choice mods made. Finished in natural and with the original pickguard and stoptail, this example has some players-grade mods throughout. Now wired up with coil tapping, this example is capable of a wide array of tones. Three-way switch has been moved to the lower horn. Two non-original strap pins are present. Tuners have been replaced, as have pickups (Seymour Duncans) as well as a replaced bridge.
It appears someone has done some light sanding back of the binding, located on the lower bout. Cosmetic condition is reasonable with minor dings and scratches throughout, as well as a structurally stable hairline split by the output jack.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a hardcase.
