1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard Honey Burst

A gorgeous LP from Gibsons 'good wood' era!

The most revered period in modern Gibson history occurred from the early to mid '90s, known throughout collector circles as the 'good wood' era. Post Norlin era this period saw a return to traditional construction techniques and premium woods, resulting in examples that have become highly desired due to their excellent construction and tone. This particular example dates towards the tail end of this era, coming in at 1995. Featuring a plane maple top and mahogany body, these examples feature a full feeling mahogany neck with a gorgeously dark rosewood fretboard. Sporting what appear to be the original 490/498 Gibson pickups, this example also features what appears to be the original pots that date to 1994. This example has had the pickguard replaced, saddles replaced, output jack, and what appears to be the output plate replaced. Replaced parts (minus output plate) are included with sale. This one comes in at 4.6kgs. 

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age with expected levels of play wear including pick marks, light dinging, and scuffing on the back of the body. Hardware is fully functional, and was recently set up in-house with a low action. Includes the original hardcase, hangtags, purchase receipt, and replaced parts.
