1998 PRS Standard 24 Vintage Cherry

A great, no-nonsense PRS from the late '90s!

Each PRS that we've had come through on consignment has been nothing short of exceptional, with this particular example offering up great playability and tone at a hard to beat price! Composed of a solid mahogany body with no top, these examples feature a set neck construction with a slim mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. Under the covers, this example retains the original HFS in the bridge and Vintage Bass in the neck. It looks as though there has been some re-wiring in the pots, with the rotary switch appearing to be a later replacement part. A great player with excellent clarity, responsiveness, and sustain!

Cosmetic condition is good, showing signs of wear in the form of minor dings, scratches, and pick marks. The most notable ding is located where the top and side of the body meet, near the output jack. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a rectangular hardcase (most likely the original).
