2000s Fender CIJ ST-62 Stratocaster Candy Apple Red

A great player in one of our favourite Fender custom colours!

We love candy apple red, and as a result, we think you'll dig this CIJ model from Fender Japan! This particular example, based off serial number, appears to date TO sometime around 2002 to 2004. This appears to be one of the base models, composed of a basswood body with bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck features a 7.25" fretboard radius and a medium 'C' profile. Under the hood, it appears to retain its original wiring harness, however is fitted with alnico pickups and cloth wiring. This potentially makes it appear to be a 62-58US, but are unable to 100% confirm. Regardless, this example plays and sounds excellent, effectively capturing the look, feel, and tone of the early '60s Stratocasters. 

Cosmetic condition is very good, showing light play wear in the form of minor dings, scratches, and pick marks. There are some minor scuffs located at the belly cut. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a gig bag. No tremolo arm.
