Dating to 2001, this example was manufactured in the Peerless factory in South Korea. These saw production from around 1999 through to 2008. Taking on the familiar silhouette of the ES-175, the Zephyr Regent features a single humbucker in the neck with a simplified volume and tone control layout. Features a mahogany body construction with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Sounds wonderfully full and present acoustically, and immediately capturing those Joe Pass vibes when plugged in. A great archtop at a great price point!
Cosmetic condition is reasonable with some scratches, marks, and swirl marks present throughout. Some of the gold hardware has seen some tarnishing throughout. There are engraved initials on the heel of the neck. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a hardcase.
