2009 Fender Roadworn '72 Telecaster Custom Sunburst
Sold Out
A killer custom from Fender Mexico!
Combining the best of a humbucker in the neck and a bright single coil in the bridge, the Telecaster Custom that emerged throughout the 1970s showcased Fenders Wide Range Humbucker and offered up an alternative tonal palette to Tele players worldwide. Manufactured in Mexico in 2009, the Roadworn '72 Telecaster Custom combines an accurate relic job with period correct specifications and appointments. Featuring an alder body in tandem with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, the '72 Telecaster Custom offers a 7.25" fretboard radius and 'C' shape neck. Featured in the neck is a Fender Wide Range humbucker as well as a standard single coil Telecaster pickup in the bridge. A bullet truss rod and F-stamped tuners complete a vintage-accurate package. A great player with plenty of mojo!
Cosmetic condition appears to be good, although is hard to exactly determine due to the relic finish applied. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes an aftermarket hardcase.
