Although notable for their incredibly rich history as one of the great amp manufacturers, Vox also make guitars as well! The SSC-33 is one of Vox's more recent model innovations, being produced around the same time Prince could be seen rocking a HDC-77. These feature a uniquely thin and contoured body, utilising alder for the body and mahogany for the neck. A coil tap is present which allows for switching between humbucker and P90 tones, making this one tonally flexible guitar.
Cosmetic condition is good with minor scratches and swirl marks present. Hardware is fully functional, and serviced here at Replay Guitars a year or two ago, new bone nut installed and setup with a low action. Includes the original gig bag.
