2011 Gibson ES-335 Plain Top Cherry

An exceptional example from Gibson!

A true icon within Gibsons catalog, the ES-335 is renowned for its tonal flexibility and exceptional presentation. This example dating to 2011 was manufactured at the Memphis plant and is a plain top model. As is typical for these models, this example features a laminated maple body with centre block. A mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard is present, sporting a 10" fretboard radius and a neck profile sitting somewhere between a 'C' and 'D' shape with a moderate thickness. The original '57 Classic pickups dating to 2011 are present, and excel in capturing this examples responsiveness and touch sensitivity. This example weighs in at 3.9kg. 

Cosmetic condition is very good, showing only light signs of wear in the form of minor scratches and swirl marks. There appears to be some very light nitro rub wear on the bass side, lower bout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original case and COA.
