Introduced as the line below the gloss finished Studio range, the Tribute range of models offered vintage-inspired looks with satin finishes and stripped back appeal. This example dates to 2011, and features a chambered mahogany body with set mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. Internally, this example retains its original electronics as well as 490R and 490T pickups. Neck profile is '50s inspired, with a moderate amount of 'chunk' with a shape sitting between a 'C' and 'D'. The necks satin finish has rubbed down smooth, in contrast to the rest of the instrument. Only modification apparent on this example is a replaced pickguard and replaced strap pins. A fun example that would make a great first Gibson!
Cosmetic condition is good, showing light signs of wear in the form of scratches and a couple of small dings. Neck finish has smoothed out over time. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a Gator-branded hardcase.
