Japanese playability and quality at an attractive price point!
Edwards exist as a subsidiary brand for ESP, manufacturing a variety of vintage-inspired instrument designs for the Japanese domestic market. This example, featured in a striking Dakota red finish, is their standard J-bass offering. As typical for most J-bass examples, this model features an alder body and maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Absolutely going for that '60s Fender Jazz Bass look! Notably, this example features a push-pull control on the tone pot, which acts as an in-series control. Sounds great, and feels awesome in hand. A minor bit of crackling from the push-pull, but otherwise playing and functioning well.
Cosmetic condition is good, with only very minor scratching and swirl marks present. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Currently fitted with flatwound strings. No case.
