2018 Gibson J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst

The definitive slope-shoulder dreadnought from Gibson!

If you needed one flattop for all time, it would be hard to make a case for anything but a J45 (excluding a D18). This particular example dates to 2018 and was manufactured at the Bozeman, Montana factory. Composed of a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides. A mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard is featured. A 12" fretboard radius is present in addition to a slim 'C' profile. The result is a punchy example with ample low end and a hint of 'dryness' that results in a quintessential slope-shoulder tone. These examples come stock from the factory with an LR Baggs pickup with soundhole mounted volume control. A gorgeous example from Gibson!

Cosmetic condition is very good, showing some minor nitro rub wear and very minor scratching throughout. There is a minor ding that seems to have been filled on the back of the body (see photos). Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Overall a fantastic sounding and light instrument that is a joy to play. Includes the original case.
