Handcrafted in Germany, Sandberg basses have ended up in the hands of renowned players worldwide. This particular example is the California VM5, an outstanding 5-string option with plenty of tonal flexibility and exceptional looks to boot. This example features an ash body with bolt-on neck, and what appears to be a special order ebony fretboard as opposed to the typical pau ferro found on these models. Another non-standard feature on this example is a reverse matching headstock. Configured with a split-coil and humbucker, this example offers up a 2-band active/passive circuit, with a passive tone control. An exceptional player with a huge sound!

Cosmetic condition is very good, with only light signs of play wear visible throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a gig bag.
