2020 Squier Classic Vibe '50s Precision Bass 2-Colour Sunburst

A cool throwback to the original precision bass!

It's important to recognise that before this bad boy came along in the early 1950s, everyone was plucking away on upright basses (there was a model from Audiovox that predates it, but Fender essentially mass manufactured the concept). Then comes Leo Fender with the radical idea to electrify the bass and put frets in, thus the Precision was born. The Classic Vibe aims to recreate some of the specifications of the earliest models and make them available to all players. Featuring a pine body in combination with a maple neck, the Classic Vibe '50s Precision features a lone single coil pickup and volume and tone configuration. The neck features a more modern 9.5" fretboard radius in combination with a 'C' shape neck. A cool nod to the original examples is the finger rest located on the treble side. What a cool bass!

Cosmetic condition is good with some light play wear present throughout. There appears to be some light fading to the pickguard as well as an American flag sticker. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a gig bag.
