Released as part of Gibsons 120th anniversary celebrations, this Les Paul Standard finished in a gorgeous (and rare) Ocean Blue finish is not only visually stunning, but also an absolute tone monster!
Examples from this line featured a weight-relieved mahogany body, Burstbucker Pro 1+2 pickups, coil-splitting and phase switching, along with locking tuners. Tonally flexible, with all the feel and tone of a classic Les Paul. This particular instrument boasts and incredibly vibrant flame-maple top which pairs beautifully with the Ocean Blue finish.
Fortunately this example did not have Gibsons much maligned automatic tuners fitted, which makes it quite unique! Plugged in, all the coil-splitting and phase switching works flawlessly, with the Burstbucker pickups delivering plenty of bite and clarity. Cosmetic condition is good throughout, with some minor scratching and scuffing present on the back of the body.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original hardshell case and case candy.
