Fender Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster Pickup Set (Second-Hand)

A great set of pickups from one of the greatest to ever pick up a Stratocaster!

Virtuoso player, Eric Johnson, is well known for his incredible chops and melodic approach to the instrument. Within guitar circles, Johnson is fabled for his obsessive pursuit of tonal excellence, reflected in his choice of instrument, effect pedals, and amplifiers. It comes as no surprise that Fender would collaborate on a signature pickup set, made to Eric Johnsons exacting specifications. As described by Fender, the neck pickup is based off an example from a '54 that utilised oversized alnico three magnets. The middle was taken from a '63 and reverse wound, with the bridge utilising alnico five magnets and wound to be hotter than the other two. A dynamic pickup set, which is effortlessly responsive and versatile. Fender provides the following ohm readings for each pickup as being :

1. Neck: 5.8-6K
2. Middle: 6.3-6.5k
3. Bridge: 6.7-6.9k

Ours came in a little lower as listed below:

1. Neck: 5.67K
2. Middle: 6.15k
3. Bridge: 6.55K

All pickups are functional and come in their original packaging with all hardware present.
