A great playing dreadnought from Tanglewood!
The TW28 model has endured for many years within Tanglewoods catalogue, thanks to its overall affordability, great playability, and impressive sound. This particular example appears to date to around 2012 and is the CSVS CE model in a vintage sunburst. Exact specifications have proven tricky to track down with this model, but in all likelihood its a spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Comes equipped with the Tanglewood-branded Fishman preamp and pickup system. This one has a nice mid range voice without any shrill high end. A lovely dreadnought for the money!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age showing play wear, predominantly in the form of noticeable pickwear on the treble side of the soundhole. Light scratching and play wear is present throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes an aftermarket hardshell case.
