A lovely example from Greco!

This particular example, based off serial number format and pickup serial, appears to date to 1980. The shape is that of the SA-500 model, which is a semi-hollow reduced size comparable to that of an ES-339. These particular examples also notably had their three-way switch mounted on the treble side horn. Block inlays adorn the ebony fretboard from the first fret to the 21st. Interestingly, SA-500s typically featured a trapeze tailpiece with a tune-o-matic style bridge, however this example shows a stoptail and a different kind of TOM, which appears to be a later revision as corrosion to hardware matches the original Maxon pickups.. Unfortunately an equivalent model doesn't appear to show up in catalogues around this year.

Cosmetic condition is good, with play wear present throughout. Many minor dings and scratches are present throughout the entirety of the instrument. Missing its pickguard. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Strung with flatwound strings. Includes an aftermarket Epiphone hardcase.
