1984 Squier MIJ SST-30 Stratocaster Sunburst
€973,95
A gorgeous A-serial Squier from a revered period of Japan manufacturing!
This particular model originally saw production in 1983, being part of the fabled 'JV' run that collectors have come to covet in years since. Produced in December of 1984, this example features an A-serial and features the exact same specifications. Composed of a basswood body with a maple neck, this example features an oval neck profile with a vintage-correct 7.25" fretboard radius. Featuring what appear to be the original SQ-3 ceramic pickups and DM-50 5-way switch, this example has had the original pots replaced with a new set of Alphas (non-functioning originals included in gig bag). A great sounding and playing Stratocaster which defies its humble 'Squier' origins.
Cosmetic condition is very good for its age showing expected play wear and light dinging and scuffing. There is a noticeable finish chip on the side of the instrument between the strap pin and output jack. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a Fender-branded leather bag and tremolo arm.
