A killer example from Stuart Spector Design!
In 1985, the rights to Spector were sold off to Kramer. In the the years that followed, Stuart Spector started SSD (Stuart Spector Design) which was based out of Woodstock, New York. During this period, SSD were continuing the design language and innovation Spector were known for, until reclaiming the rights to the Spector name in 1998. This particular example dates to this period, sometime during the 1990s. This particular example appears to be the NS-94 model, which saw production in Korea to keep costs down. These feature a set neck construction along with active pickups and electronics, a 34" scale length and 12" fretboard radius. Various sources appear to infer these featured maple necks and bodies. A fun bass with plenty of spank!
Cosmetic condition is fair, showing noticeable signs of play wear in the form of dings, scratches, and a dulling of the finish throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Is missing the truss rod cover. Includes an aftermarket hardcase.
