1996 PRS Custom 22 Stoptail 10-Top Black Cherry

PRS Guitars are regarded for their exceptional build quality and incredible tone, of which this example is no exception. Dating to 1996 and possessing a '10-Top', this example is the Custom 22 model with stoptail, effectively a PRS Dragon but without the ornateness typically found on those examples. Finished in a lovely Black Cherry, the Custom 22 Stoptail boasts a mahogany body with carved maple top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. Dragon II Bass and Treble pickups are featured and sound exceptional, with the inclusion of a volume and tone control, three-way switching, and push-pull volume pot. This example is super responsive with exceptional clarity and proves to us once again why these guitars are so well regarded!

Cosmetic condition is fair, showing noticeable signs of play wear. The top shows minor scuffs, dings, and general pick wear. The back shows more noticeable scratching as well as an array of small dings located around the binding. Headstock shows standard scratching and scuffing. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original hardcase as well as the original truss rod cover.
