2000 Fender Stu Hamm Urge II Bass Bright Sapphire Metallic
€1.098,95
A killer signature bass from Fender USA!
The original Urge bass was Fenders first signature bass model, in collaboration with virtuoso player Stu Hamm (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani). This particular model dates to 2000 and is the second revision, after the original versions run from around 1993 to 1999. The Urge II is composed of an alder body in combination with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. A fingerboard radius of 9.5" is present, as is an easy to play asymmetrical oval neck profile. What really sets apart this model is its unique control layout and pickup selection. Featuring two Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups with a Noiseless Precision bass pickup in middle position, this example is capable of a wide array of tonal options. Featuring a 3-band active EQ as well as controls for pickup pan and a 3-way toggle to engage each respective pickup. Loud, crystal clear, and in your face, this example is a killer model and one of Fenders more adventurous bass offerings.
Cosmetic condition is very good for its age with light play wear throughout. The pickguard plastic shows some signs of discolouration. A screw has been replaced for the battery cover on the back. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes an aftermarket rectangular ABS bass case.
