2003 Gibson Melody Maker Satin Yellow
€761,95
A great, stripped-back Gibson!
Originally launched back in 1959, the Melody Maker served as the affordable option within Gibsons catalogue aimed towards younger players. However, these later saw greater use with players who enjoyed them for their affordability, simple configuration, and great playability. This particular example dates to 2003, and was part of a run that produced Melody Makers with a P90 in the bridge. Finished in a very cool satin yellow, this example is composed of a mahogany body with set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Featuring a smaller headstock with plastic button Kluson tuners, this model is stripped back and ready to rock. A fun player and perfect for those looking to get a Gibson without spending big bucks!
Cosmetic condition is very good showing only light play wear throughout. There is some discolouration/scuffing running from the side of the body near the strap pin, around to the treble side. There is a small indentation in the back of the body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original gig bag.
