Celebrating fifty years of the Fender Jazz Bass, this example finished in a stunning candy apple red with matching headstock is an excellent release that references various specifications from the various eras of the Jazz Bass. Featuring an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this example boasts block inlays on the fretboard which is quite a hallmark of post CBS Jazz Bass'. A '60s style logo is present on the headstock with this example also coming stock with the bridge and pickup covers as well as a thumb rest. Standard Jazz Bass controls are present, with the package being rounded out with a 50th anniversary neck plate. A gorgeous instrument and worthy representation of the Jazz Bass' 50th anniversary!
Cosmetic condition is very good for its age with light play wear and a couple of dings located on both the headstock and body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Currently strung with flatwound strings. Includes the original case, a replacement pickguard, and case candy.
