'60s Stratocaster vibes courtesy of this example from Fender Japan!
It doesn't get more iconic than a small headstock, rosewood board Stratocaster. This particular example, coming from Fender Japan, captures the look of early '60s examples to a tee. Although the serial number appears to indicate 2015, this one comes up as 2016 through Fenders serial number search. Composed of a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, this example features a vintage-correct 7.25" fretboard radius. Described by Fender as a slim 'C' profile, this example feels effortless to play. An examination under the pickguard reveals Fender Custom Shop Fat '60s pickups (non-original), as well as the second tone control being replaced with a CTS aftermarket potentiometer. A great playing Stratocaster with a beautiful sound and gorgeous presentation!
Cosmetic conditon is very good with light play wear present. There is a very small and minor split at the neck join, which is structurally sound and common to see on poly-finished Stratocasters. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a Fender-branded gig bag and tremolo arm.
