Jaco would have told you himself if he was still here that he is the greatest bass player of all time, and he certainly wasn't being overly hyperbolic. One of the most influential to pick up a Jazz Bass, Jaco was a true virtuoso who revolutionised the role in which bass took within an ensemble context. This particular example from Fender aims to recreate a little of the magic of Jacos most famous axe, a 1962 Jazz Bass called the 'bass of doom'. Featuring a fretless neck with no pickguard, the bass of doom is a visual bass icon. This example features an alder body in combination with a maple neck and fretless pau ferro fretboard. These models feature American Vintage jazz bass pickups and are made in the US to boot!
Cosmetic condition is good with little play wear present. Finger-ramp installed, but likely easy to remove. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original case, COA, and case goodies.
